Can I Book My Own Lesson?
Yes.... once you are familiar with the process. If you are a teacher who enjoys holding video conferences with your classes often, the instructions here will walk you through the process of scheduling.
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR TECHNOLOGY FACILITATOR TO ASSIST YOU WITH BOOKING YOUR VERY FIRST LESSON ON YOUR OWN.
It is a good idea to have your technology facilitator walk you through the steps of booking the first time.
Important Things to Know:
The lessons do COST MONEY. We use Title I funds to pay for those, so it is very important that you book the lesson using our content dollar bank.
When scheduling, it is important to consider your lunch time, recess, special classes, scheduled school wide events and field trips. Please check your calendars to ensure that you are available for the time you are requesting the lesson.
Lessons are usually refundable if you cancel 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson date. You must reach out to your facilitator for assistance with canceling the lesson, or cancel with the provider through CILC.
It is important to conduct a Test Call with the provider prior to your connection time. This way, if there are any kinks which need working out, you have time to do so.
Mark your lesson on your calendar and do not forget to connect :)
