Nurse

Laura Pariante graduated from Molloy College with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. While at Molloy, Laura completed her Capstone study at Cohen Children's Medical Center (CCMC) on their hematology/oncology unit. Laura was so touched by the patients and families that she worked with, she decided to pursue her nursing career, specializing in pediatrics. She began her nursing career at CCMC on a pediatric medical surgical unit and then was transferred to another unit to help fight on the front lines of the covid-19 pandemic. Laura has since transitioned to a school nurse role to focus on helping families within her community. Laura has found it very rewarding to work within the community and help keep the children of the community healthy, safe and in school.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs: Blu and Dexter. Her hobbies include painting, going to the beach and working in her garden.
