Grade Profiles

The Third Grade Teachers are so excited to welcome you! What a wonderful grade to be entering! This year we will have so much fun reading books about all kinds of people, places and things. We will go on a journey across the world to learn all about countries and their cultures, government, geography and more. We will all become “engineers” as we explore how structures move, withstand weather conditions and help to solve real world problems. We will make STEAM projects that will take our skills even further. Project Based Learning Projects (PBL) is a fun way for us to do research, note-take, and present your work to your teachers and peers. Math in Third Grade is special because we will learn multiple strategies to solve  problems and explain our work. Everyone thinks about math a little differently! If you love to write, then Third Grade is the place for you! We love to write about our own lives, and write about topics that we love. So get ready to travel with us, and grab your thinking caps! Here we go!
