Fourth Grade is an exciting year for our students.  We continually work on building community, responsibility, organization, and mindfulness.  Our literacy program is a balance of fiction and non-fiction reading and writing.  The accompanying read alouds for our units of study are poignant stories of the challenges characters face and overcome.  Our curriculum is rich with the history of New York from colonial times up to the Revolutionary War.  We round out our curriculum with a hands-on approach to science with three engaging units.  We look forward to working with you and your children throughout the year.
