The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces you to how software and hardware work together. It has an LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features that, when programmed, let it interact with you and your world.
What is in the kit? What do I need?
What is in the kit? What do I need?
In the kit you'll find:
a Micro:bit
Alligator clips
Instruction card
Tinfoil
Battery holder
Battery charger
AAA batteries
USB cable
You'll need to provide:
Space for students to use the Micro:bit - this is an inside only device at this stage
A device for students to connect their Micro:bit to and to follow project and help files
Micro:bit can be programmed using Chromebooks, Windows and Mac laptops so students can use their own devices for this
