Edison Resources

What is it?

Edison is a small tough programmable robot that is compatible with lego and other brick varieties. It can be controlled with code, by scanning specific barcodes or using a tv remote.

What is in the kit? What do I need?

In the kit you'll find:

  • 4 x Edison Robots
  • 4 x Edcomm cables
  • 16 x AAA batteries
  • Battery charger
  • Large laminated Edison Map
  • Edison intro book

You'll need to provide:

  • Somewhere to use Edison robots
  • Help with registering an account on one of the programming apps if students want to save their programs
  • Lego (optional)
  • Obstacles (toys, cardboard, blocks etc.)
  • Paper & Black felt pens/sharpie/vivid for drawing lines for Edison to follow
  • TV remote if you want students to control Edisons this way
