Morning meetings are a way for students to greet one another, share, connect through activity, and receive a message for the day. We have so appreciated seeing the kids during this time. Thank you for all of your help getting your kids connected! Several parents have asked about Spanish and English morning meetings and which meetings to attend. On days when Spanish and English morning meetings overlap, Maestra Bea and I are encouraging families to choose which language opportunity would best support their child. If you feel your child needs extra exposure to Spanish, he or she is more than welcome to join Maestra Bea's morning meetings and visa versa.
If you are in Maestra Ariana's class your child will have a bilingual experience in some sessions .speaking both languages to acquire fluency in both Spanish and English. While in other sessions we will stick to one target language and switch to the other one on the next session.

Varios padres han preguntado sobre las reuniones matutinas en español e inglés y a qué reuniones asistir. En los días en que las reuniones matutinas en español e inglés coinciden , Maestra Bea y yo estamos alentando a las familias a elegir la oportunidad de idioma que mejor apoye a su hijo. Si siente que su hijo necesita una exposición adicional al español, es más que bienvenido a unirse a las reuniones matutinas de Maestra Bea y viceversa.
Si está en la clase de Maestra Ariana, su hijo tendrá una experiencia bilingüe en algunas sesiones. Hablará ambos idiomas para adquirir fluidez tanto en español como en inglés. Mientras que en otras sesiones nos centraremos en un idioma y cambiaremos al otro en la próxima sesión.
