During March and April first graders will learn about how patterns repeat in predictable ways.
They will participate in lessons that inquire into:
how observations help us to gather information about our world
how patterns we observe in the sky help us make predictions
where we find patterns in our daily life
how we organize time and record events
Lessons will include a focus on the key concepts: causation, change and connection.
The learner profile attributes we are highlighting during this unit are: Inquirers, Knowledgeable and Risk-taker!
Durante marzo y abril, los alumnos de primer grado aprenderán cómo se repiten los patrones de manera predecible.
Participarán en lecciones que indagan sobre:
cómo las observaciones nos ayudan a recopilar información sobre nuestro mundo
cómo los patrones que observamos en el cielo nos ayudan a hacer predicciones
donde encontramos patrones en nuestra vida diaria
cómo organizamos el tiempo y registramos eventos
Las lecciones incluirán un enfoque en los conceptos clave: causalidad, cambio y conexión.
