Good Morning, kids! Today, you will be creating a very important Flipgrid. It is important that you take your time making your Flipgrid. For your video, please share your favorite memory from 1st grade. You can write about a favorite game you played with friends, something funny that happened in the classroom, or one thing you loved doing every day in 1st grade. Take your time and do your best!
Watch my 2 Flipgrid videos are directions and my favorite memory!
Ariana's Flipgrid:
Learning Target: I can write about my favorite memory from first grade.
Include a beginning to show my reader what my writing will be about.
Use words like first, next, then, and finally to make my writing easy to read.
Create an ending to show my reader that I am finished writing about my topic.
Directions: Write 5 sentences about your favorite memory from first grade. Include a beginning sentences, three sentences in between for reasons and details, and an ending sentence. If you have trouble thinking of one, answer the questions before you start writing:
What was something special you and your friends did at recess?
Was there a visitor who came to the school who taught you something new?
What was something really funny that happened in the classroom or lunchroom?
Directions: Today, you will be responding to 2 of your classmate's Flipgrid posts (from Monday's assignment). You can respond by sharing a connection, asking them a question, or sharing why your favorite memory might be similar or different than your classmate's.
If you have not submitted your Flipgrid from Monday's assignment, please try and get it done today! Your video will be used for a special surprise that we will share next week! :)
Learning Target: I can write about a problem I solved.
Think about a big (or small) problem you had. What went wrong?
Explain the problem. Why was it a problem?
Identify the solution. How was the problem fixed?
