In Module 6, students:

• work on comparative word problem types

• extend their understanding of and skill with tens and ones to numbers to 100

• extend their learning from Module 4 to the numbers to 100 to add and subtract

• are introduced to nickels and quarters (having already used pennies and dimes with numbers to 40 in Module 4) and will use their knowledge of tens and ones to explore decompositions of the values of coins

Friday May 8 NATIONAL FIELD DAY

DVE Families! This Friday May 8th will be our virtual field day. Ms. Steele will provide fun and easy to do activities at home. Students will start their day with a morning meeting with their class and then they will have the rest of the day free to participate in field day. Activities and directions will be shared during morning meetings. We hope you have a fun day and feel free to post pictures on our Facebook Page.

¡Familias DVE! Este viernes 8 de mayo será nuestro día de campo virtual. La Srta. Steele dará actividades divertidas y fáciles de hacer en casa. Los estudiantes comenzarán su día con una reunión en la mañana con su clase y luego tendrán el resto del día libre para participar en el día de campo. Las actividades y direcciones serán compartidas durante las reuniones de la mañana. Esperamos que tengan un día divertido y que se sientan libres de publicar fotos en nuestra página de Facebook.
