Surrealism 

Artist Statement: I began by clipping off pictures for my project from magazines like National Geographic. I utilized some photos just basic colors and pictures. I spread them out randomly before gluing them down with a glue stick.

I made sure to have some overlapping parts in my collage because I knew it would look cool when I started to put it on canvas and paint it. 

I used paint brushes to tidy up the margins of my painting before it was finished. This turned out well, and the likeness shocked me.
