Title: Hoops

"9x12" Color pencils and graphite pencils 

Statement:

I had to create a stated purpose for a Donate Life design for this project. I also had to create an illustration for my statement according to the subject I chose. My subject of basketball was chosen to represent the way you can save someone from their last basketball shot. 

I just used two materials for this task.  I used a variety of colored and graphite pencils and markers. Using "9x12" drawing paper, I developed the design.

I began this task by writing my statement.  After that, I needed to figure out what my visual would be. I had already come up with my theme being basketball, so I just had to put my ideas on paper. I am pretty happy with how this came out and enjoyed creating this piece of art.
