linear perspective

In order to make this proyectwe learned about linear perspective in class and how to create all sorts of shapes using one or two points. First we drew a horizontal line which would be our eye level. Then we chose our main point which all shapes would connect to. From that vanishing point we started drawing lines in order to create that linear perspective ilusion. In class we learnt how to do basic shapes and from there we had to draw a room. It's cool that from shapes like squares and rectangles you can create a whole room. For the main drawing we were asked to go to the hall and take a picture and draw it. I think that was easier because we printed the picture so you could draw the lines in it and figure out where the vanishing point was and where everything was much more clearly so it made it easy to do, although we had to enlarge it because the picture was much smaller than the paper we were given to draw on.

I think it was a really fun proyect to make because eventhough we were given instructions in what to make we could still chose how to fill it in in our own way with our own designs so we had a bit of freedom there. Also it was quite easy, and the only materials needed were a pencil, a ruler and an eraser.
