For this project we were asked to choose a picture we have taken and make a realistic enlarged copy of it. I chose a picture of my bestfriend on the day we came to America. The reason I chose it is because it brings me back memories and also that he started this new experience with me.

In the project we were asked to use both ink and charcoal, I only used charcoal. I used both black and white charcoal. How we did this was we printed the picture and divided it into 1 inch squares. Then we chose which colored paper we wanted to use, I chose grey. Then we did some math to expand the picture into the correct size for the colored sheet. The technique we used was filling the picture square by square starting from the top, this is a good way to really look for the detail of what you're about to draw.
