Health Components of Fitness
We learned about our target heart rate while resting and working out.
We also learned about twitch fibers in muscles, body composition, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility.
During this project it was interesting to learn about heart rate and how it changes depending on physical activity, and that it can vary per individual. I also learned about fast and slow twitch muscle fibers and how they differ. This required critical thinking to make assumptions of which muscles contain which fibers based on their job.
What I could have done better was study more about muscular and cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, body composition, and flexibility to learn more about these concepts.
