STEM Engineering
Beginning of the year questions:
What are you passionate about, and how could you apply your passions to a possible Capstone project?
I am passionate about engineering and working through problems. I like to design new ways of constructing things which can help with my capstone project and creatively finding solutions. I can apply this to my capstone project by being focused and motivated on my project and spending lots of time to rework issues and solve problems.
What are you good at/like to do, what are you skilled at?
I like to design blueprints for things and I am skilled at woodworking. I am very motivated once I start a project and I find solutions to design issues that come up as I build. Overall, I am very flexible and I am skilled in rolling with new circumstances in my projects.
Which new skills would you like to research and practice as you work on your Capstone?
I would like to try and be even more creative with my designs and in my practices as I work on my capstone because all innovation comes from being creative. Also being creative can help save time, money, and resources by finding innovative ways to do things.
How do you hope to apply your skills and passions in the Capstone?
I hope to apply my skills and passions in the capstone by consistently reworking and designing my project so that it is the most efficient and effective that it could be. That the project is not a work-in-progress at the end and it is a standalone masterpiece. I can do this by staying focused and not settling for mediocrity in my ideas and designs.
