Flexibility

  • In this unit we learned about the three different types of stretching, dynamic, static active, and static passive stretching.

  • We also learned about other types of stretching which include, dynamic, ballistic, static active, static passive, isometric, and PNF stretching.

  • We then had to define these different types of stretching depending on movements which can be related back to critical thinking of the 6 C's. These types of stretches can be used pre-workout, post-workout, or as a workout and stretch on their own.
