Climate Change Art Installation

For this project we were put into groups of two and asked to make a presentation including a slideshow poster and a diorama that Help to inform our audience on climate change. there were multiple options for what route we could take when doing this. me and my partner chose to do the ¨residence of our dreams¨ the requirements or this or that we Design an hour perfect environmentally friendly sustainable home.

Diorama

The diorama of our house is made of cardboard tape toothpicks grass and glue. The life-size house would have grass on the roof and balcony along with solar panels on part of the roof and a wind turbine. Having wind and solar energy available would make the house more reliable when the weather does not support one of the two ways of getting energy. There are also water collectors to support the greenery around the house.

Poster

Our poster has a drawing of the house along with a description of all of the pieces of the house that make it environmentally friendly. there is also an in-depth description of solar energy and wind energy.

Overall I really enjoyed this project and learning about climate change. I have sat near my partner the whole year so I felt that it was easy to collaborate and communicate well with my partner if I was to do this project again I think I could improve on my creativity skills because I am happy with what I came up with for the project but there is always room for improvement especially in a project like this with so much freedom. I would also try to work on being a conscientious learner because at times I was confused about the directions for the project.
