In this section you can find a checklist that can prove useful when making sure you have covered the different elements/steps of an application to university or college. Please remember that you might be required to hand in other documents or taking additional steps as part of your application (or that some of the elements/steps on the list might not apply to you!). Please carry out your research and remove / add to the list as you see fit.
List of universities/colleges: Please upload your list of universities/colleges you are applying to your locker on Unifrog – including deadlines and admission requirements. Make sure you indicate submission deadlines (ED/EA, Regular, Rolling), admission requirements and other documentation to submit along with the application (such as portfolios).
Note: Please remember that you should strive for a well-researched list of universities based on this model:
1 or 2 likely universities (sometimes called "safer/safety options"),
target (solid) universities,
and additionally could have 1 or 2 reach (aspirational) universities
In our experience, we find it is best not to apply to more than 10 universities (UCAS for the UK, CAO for Ireland and UC for California would count as 1). At the same time, we suggest that you consider the number of different application systems you are willing to encounter.
Add the universities/colleges you are applying to Unifrog: Remember to add your applications on Unifrog (on the "Application list" section - if a university or college is not listed, you can add it manually).
