Curriculum that is used in grade 7 is Matatag Curriculum. Matatag Curriculum is the newest revision for K to 12 Curriculum that is used in the Philippines. It's different from another grade that is still using the older version of the curriculum. The grade 7 became a trial for implementing the new curriculum.
The textbook for grade 7 already into Matatag Curriculum. To prepare the materials, I borrow the book from my cooperating PST, Jean, and improving the materials based on the various source of the internet. It because the materials on the book is not enough to achieving the learning objectives, so the improvement for materials is needed.

EHS has its own format for the lesson plan that I must follow. I made the lesson plan based on the format for grade 7 - Patriotism which the topic talking about Ecosystem, specify in The Components of Ecosystem: Biotic & Abiotic. The learning model that I use is 5E (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate), meanwhile the learning method that used is class discussion, group discussion, teamwork, presentation, and question & answer. The learning approach is scientific approach with mix learning media, both traditional and digital media.
After the lesson plan done, I consult it with my cooperating pre-service teacher, Jean. After Jean check it, we consult it to the supervising teacher for science, Ma'am Baltazar. Ma'am Baltazar giving the feedback for the lesson plan and giving the approval for using the lesson plan in the class.

The learning media that be used for my teaching is a combination between traditional media and digital media. The traditional media that be used is visual aids and demonstration. Meanwhile, for the digital media, interactive canva presentation being used.

Traditional Media
There are various media that will be use in the teaching practice. The traditional media that be use for the lesson are:
Visual aids with the form of table for Biotic & Abiotic components. The Biotic components consist of producers, consumers, and decomposers. Meanwhile, the Abiotic components consist of climate factors, edaphic factors, and topography.
Printed materials of biotic and abiotic components.
Real object for demonstration that are leaf and rock.
Students worksheet that use to managing the group activity during the group discussion.
Whiteboard for additional writing during the lesson.
Digital Media
The digital media that is used in the teaching is interactive canva presentation. This media is not the main media for the learning, but as a supporting media. The function of interactive canva presentation for the lesson is to keep the lesson on track.
