Filipino Class

After welcoming ceremony, we took a break and had lunch. After lunch, we are back on the College of Education. Then, we had 4 hours Filipino Class! 

At the first 2 hours, we studied about Filipino culture. We also tried to introduce ourselves with Filipino language. My introduction:

"Magandang Araw

Ako si Pramnesti

Taga Indonesia ako

Guitong gusto ko ang K-Pop and anime"

We study about the culture, realizing the differences and similarities between Filipino and Indonesian. For the example, in the Philippines, there is Filipino time and in Indonesia, we call it "ngaret". Also, there is behavior that Filipino is not speaking directly with the person that is not close. 

In the next two hours, we study about Filipino language. We notice if there is similarities between Filipino and Indonesian, for the examples:

• Guro - guru

• Ako - aku

• Anak - anak

• Ampat - empat

• Lima - lima

• Pito - pitu (Javanese language)
