United Nation Celebration at EHS

United Nation Celebration at EHS held on November 14th, 2024. The first session is seminar about mental health, build an awareness for the students. The event following with debate competition for grade 7-10. Each class sending one delegation for the debates. The topic of debates is quite impressive:

1. Education in the Philippines - is 8 hours schooling effective?

2. Is divorce mechanism needed in the Philippines

3. Conflict between Israel and Palestine

We surprised about the second and third topic. In Indonesia, usually that topic taboo for teenager and who is debating it usually the college students. We got a lot of impression when saw the debate, marveled with the courage and bravery of the students when they stating their opinion.

The next event is pageant. The theme of the pageant is the nations worldwide. There are class that got Thailand, Japan, China, Korea, Greek, and others.
