How to Join Zoom Using a Meeting ID and Passcode

To join a zoom meeting, you can type “Zoom” in your search bar then click on the first one.
Click on “Join” at the right corner, beside “Host”.
If you were given a meeting ID and pass code by your teacher, enter it in the box below then click “Join”.
Click on “Launch Meeting” to launch the meeting then wait for your teacher/host to let you in.

To unmute, you click on your mic that’s beside your camera. You can also adjust it by switching different mics and/or speaker.

To start video, click on your camera that’s beside your mic. You can adjust it by going to camera options by clicking on the arrow right beside it (If you’re on Chromebook, you go to the three dots that says “More” beside the “Show Captions” > go to settings then go to video.)

To use the chat, you can just click on the “Chat” that’s in between “Share Screen” and “Show Captions”. You can adjust who or where to chat to (eg. chat to everyone or private to a teacher). You can also use emojis by just clicking on the face beside “to: Everyone”.

How to Change Your Background in Zoom

Click on the arrow next to your “Start Video” camera.
Click on “Choose Virtual Background”.
Choose whatever background you want to set up as. If you don’t have a background, you can go to google images > search background images or anything you like > right click then click “Save image as…” (or click on it then click “Download”) > click on the + beside “Video Filters” then upload it to your zoom.
Click on it to set it as your zoom background.
How to Screen Share in Zoom

To screen share, you go to “Share Screen” then you can click whether to share it through the entire screen, window or just a tab. On Chromebook, you unfortunately can’t share audio. On Mac or HP, you can share audio by clicking “Share Audio” at the bottom.

Go to google calendar the same way as above but click on the google calendar avatar and just type in google calendar. The result should look like this.
Click on the event. The event page pop up should look like this.
Click on “Join with Google Meet”. It should take you to the google meet
