Brightspace

1) Search up and go to "Brightspace TDSB" or use this link: https://tdsb.elearningontario.ca/d2l/login 

2) Click on "Staff and Students Login".

3) Put in your TDSB Email and (Secret) Password. You can choose “Yes” to be signed in automatically or “No”.

1) When logged in, click on “Virtual Secondary School” under My Schools.

2) Go to the cube (known as the waffle) to see your classes.

3) Now you’ll know what classes you have for the semester.

1) When logged in, click on “Virtual Secondary School” under My Schools.

2) Click on the Club Hub widget that’s under “VSS Important Links”.

3) Choose whatever club you want to join. You otherwise email the runners of each club, put in the Google Classroom code or fill out the Google form they provide in the descriptions of each club.

1) In your class Brightspace shell, go to where it says “Assignments”.

In assignments, you get to check what assignments you have, your grades and feedback from teachers.

2) To submit an assignment, click on “Add a File” or if you’re doing an assignment that involves recording your voice or video, then you can click on “Record Audio” or “Record Video”.

3) Go to "My Computer", then select "Upload" (or you can just simply drag your file to the square).

5) After you’re done, you can click “Submit” and wait for your teacher to mark and give feedback.

1) In your class Brightspace shell, go to where it says “Content”.

In content, you can find many sources to start off your first day in virtual school like lessons, assignments, videos and more.
