Priestley entitled An Inspector Calls, and finally you will explore an anthology of 15 poems under the theme of Power and Conflict.
In English Language, you will discover both fiction and non-fiction texts from a wide range of backgrounds. You will learn how to write creatively and narratively, how to write letters, articles and speeches, and you will explore non-fiction texts on a variety of topics, from gender, race and civil rights issues, to global warning, education and the world of celebrity. You will also have the opportunity to deliver a speaking and listening assessment on a topic of your choice.
Achieving a GCSE in English will open up a world of opportunities for you.
