How to use AI Notes
Any phone system that can open a URL with a custom search phrase can integrate with a customer's EZLynx account. Follow the steps below to learn how.
1. Launch the RingCentral Phone desktop application and log in.
2. Click the Settings icon.
3. Go to Phone> then enable the toggle switch for Launch an external app or a URL on incoming call .
4. In the Execute command field, enter this URL: https://app.ezlynx.com/applicantportal/Search/Index?searchPhrase=%P
5. Click Test to see if the browser will open the EZLynx website.
NOTE: The default number used in this test search is (650) 555-4092 . During regular inbound calls, the phone number is captured by the %P line argument in the URL.
To send a fax just put the faxnumber followed by @rcfax.com
For example if you are going to fax 732-462-8344 you would do so by typing like this 7324628344@rcfax.com

With click-to-dial turned on, you can click a linked phone or fax number from any website or text message to place a call or send a fax through the RingCentral app.
To use click-to-dial, make sure:
The RingCentral app is your default app for click-to-dial
Note: Phone features can only be turned on by a company admin.
Setting up click-to-dial
Go to Settings in the left navigation bar.
Click the Phone tab.
Under General, turn on Use RingCentral for click to dial and fax.
Set RingCentral as your default app for click-to-dial.
Setting default app for click-to-dial/fax on Windows
Open Windows search and enter Protocol in the search field.
Select Choose a default app for each link type (in Windows 10, it will be Choose a default app for each protocol).
Scroll to CALLTO and click Choose a default.
If you already have a default app, click the app icon.
In the Choose an app window, select RingCentral, then click OK.
Scroll to FAX and click Choose a default.
If you already have a default app, click the app icon.
In the Choose an app window, select RingCentral, then click OK.
Setting default app for click-to-dial/fax on Mac
Open the FaceTime app.
Click the FaceTime menu.
Click Preferences. Note: You’ll need to be signed in with your Apple ID to access the Preferences menu.
For Default for calls, select RingCentral.
Using click-to-dial
Make sure you’re signed in to the RingCentral app on your desktop.
From any website or text message, click a number you wish to call.
On the Make a call from popup, select RingCentral to open the keypad and automatically make a call.
