Progressive Audit Guidelines

Progressive is scrutinizing several areas, including:

Proof of garaging-we will accept the garaging address in safer unless the insured has an acceptable lease agreement at time of binding.                                           

High Agent of Record Volume- we want Progressive agents focusing on writing new business with Progressive.

 Business Class Audits- we want agents calling agency services to help get the correct business class prior to binding.

Radius Audit- please use safer to see where insured is being inspected, this can help ensure that the correct radius is being chosen prior to binding.

Quick Cancels- Writing a policy and cancelling within 30 days. 

To ensure compliance, please:

•  Obtain proof of prior insurance upfront

• *Contact Progressive for clarification on all classifications or any uncertainties (and document the name and location of the person you spoke to)

• Do not bind any policies on a BOR basis 

• For garaging addresses more than 10 miles from the mailing address, obtain all parking/lease agreements and utility bills upfront before binding and submit them to Progressive 

• Don't write the policy if it will cancel soon. 

• Jake must review and approve all Progressive policies before binding (Scarlett, please inform your team)

BOR PT 2

We need to scrub this list of Progressive BOR's and verify the progressive policy number and also the effective date

We also need to make sure there are no underwriting memos outstanding 

Get name of Rep who you spoke to.
