Leader: We Adore You, O Christ, and we praise You,

All: Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

This Station reflects on how Simon helped Jesus carry His Cross. The guards forced Simon out from the crowd to help Jesus. Jesus was a model to the people. Simon got to learn how to follow His example.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus said, "I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do." How can you follow Jesus’ words today?

Let us pray, 

Lord, thank you for giving up Yourself for us. Give us the strength to persevere when we make sacrifices and help us to live our lives fully for You.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
