Leader: We Adore You, O Christ, and we praise You,

All: Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

Jesus is condemned to death after being accused of blasphemy. Jesus didn’t do anything wrong, He was just trying to get everyone to Heaven. Even after being condemned to death, Jesus showed love and kindness to all on His path. He was put in a terrible circumstance, and faced it with humility. He humbly was ready to walk the Way of the Cross.

Jesus, is there any area of my life where I need to show kindness, even if I will not receive it in return?

Let us pray,

Dear Jesus, help us to be content in challenging circumstances. You faced the ultimate unfair punishment, but accepted it to save us from our sins. Help us to be like You.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
