Leader: We Adore You, O Christ, and we praise You,

All: Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

In this Station, Jesus met his Mother on the street while He carried the Cross. He was condemned to death and was on his way to Golgotha. Mary was there to comfort Him even if it hurt. She had to watch her Son go through immense pain and suffering. This was a terrible experience, but she did it out of love for Jesus.

Is there someone in your life that you can comfort and be there for?

Let us pray,

Dear Jesus, please help us to support others as Mary supported you. It was so hard for Mary to see her Son like that. Please give us the strength to comfort others in times of need.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
