Leader: We Adore You, O Christ, and we praise You,

All: Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

When Jesus was carrying the Cross up to Mount Calvary, He fell from His exhaustion for the third time. He had a hard time getting up by the sheer torture and pain of carrying the cross. But our Lord Jesus still got up for us.

Have you ever had a time when you fell and had a hard time getting back up, or got seriously hurt and needed help? 

Let us pray,

Lord, help us to carry our own cross and follow you up to Heaven. When we fall and we make our own mistakes, bring us back up to You.

We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
