Hello, and welcome to the 2026 Stations of the Cross presented by our 7th grade class of 2027. Today, we invite you to pray the Way of the Cross with us. We welcome you to read along as we take a journey through Jesus' shoes and how he suffered for us. We hope you enjoy The Way of the Cross.
During the Stations of the Cross, we remember the Passion of Christ and the journey He made through the hardest and final days of His life during Holy Week. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus on Holy Thursday after Jesus celebrated the first Mass with His Disciples in the Upper Room. The Stations of the Cross are based on the events of Good Friday, when Jesus carried the Cross, got crucified, and was laid in the tomb. We know that Jesus is the Messiah and will rise again on Easter morning.
As you ponder the Stations of the Cross today and remember how Jesus died for us, what ways can you sacrifice for Him?
Let us pray,
Lord, as we journey through Lent, help us grow in holiness through prayer and fasting. Please help us to make sacrifices that will help us grow closer to You and in the end, bring us to Heaven.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
