Even though Jesus’ death is quite sorrowful and somber, we can look forward to Easter Sunday when Jesus will rise again. After His glorious Resurrection, we also will celebrate His Ascension into heaven. And then at Pentecost, we will follow in the footsteps of the apostles spreading the word of God.
But now, for the rest of Lent, we must wait for Easter to come. What are some things you do when needing to wait for something important?
Let us pray,
Dear Jesus, even as we grieve your death, let us remember the promise of Your coming again. Help us to carry out our Lenten promise throughout these forty days until we celebrate Your Resurrection at Easter.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Thank you for spending the evening to listen to our Way of the Cross before you leave we ask you take a look at our Music Playlist, History, and Artwork page.
