Best News Ever

Share The Good News

Jesus came to share the Good News of God with His people. This Easter, many of our faith community will join the Catholic church. Help us welcome them!

Activity: Write a letter to someone being baptized into the Catholic Church through RCIA. Explain what being Catholic means to you, and offer your support and prayers as they come into full communion with the Church.

Making Unleavened Bread

Just as Jesus had His Last Supper with His disciples, you can make your own simple unleavened bread without yeast and reflect during a family dinner on the Last Supper. Use this link to take you to the website where you will find ingredients and directions.

Making Resurrection Easter Story Eggs

An 'egg'citing Easter Story inside Easter eggs. In each eggs there is a different Easter symbol explaining Jesus' journey. On Saturday night, hide your Resurrection eggs for your family to find on Easter Sunday morning. When they find an egg and open it have them reflect and mention what that symbol resembles.

Reflection Time

In John 6:35, Jesus Christ says, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst." At the Last Supper, He instructs His disciples to, "Take and eat; this is my body", as He breaks bread with them. Why is Christ "bread" for us - what is Christ telling you about the role He wants to play in your life?
