Best News Ever

Share The Good News

Jesus came to share the Good News of God with His people. This Easter, many of our faith community will join the Catholic church more fully through the sacrament of First Eucharist. Help us welcome them!

Activity: Write a letter to one of our second grade students who will receive Christ in the Eucharist for the first time this spring. Share what it means to you being able to receive Christ in the Eucharist and offer your support and prayers as they come into full communion with the Church.

Making Unleavened Bread

Just as Jesus had His Last Supper with His disciples, you can make your own simple unleavened bread without yeast and reflect during a family dinner on the Last Supper. Use this link to take you to the website where you will find ingredients and directions.

Making Resurrection Eggs

An 'egg'citing Easter Story inside Easter eggs. In each eggs there is a different Easter symbol explaining Jesus' journey. On Saturday night, hide your Resurrection eggs for your family to find on Easter Sunday morning. When they find an egg and open it have them reflect and mention what that symbol resembles.
