At this point you need to reflect on your proposal. Read it carefully, does it clearly explain what you are going to make. Remember this is the start of the contract between you and your client. This is what will either win or lose the contract for you!
In this part you reflect on your proposal and ask yourself will this outcome meet my clients needs. Have I put enough detail into the proposal to make sure that the final outcome will be "fit for purpose"
What it look like
You will write a short paragraph that outlines how your proposal meets your clients needs, justify yourself. Why have you made the decision you have, why is your proposed solution the most suitable? What will your end users get from your outcome?
for example
The fraction animation outcome will be both entertaining and educational. Having a storyline will get buy in from the students. Hosting it on youtube means it will be accessible for everyone regardless of the device they use. As the maths teacher does not have access to a computer room he is able to use the animation as a starter, playing it on the main projector in his room. He is able to control the animation using the controls in youtube and can pause the animation at any time is he wants to add anything at the time. The 2-3 minute length makes it suitable for a starter at the beginning of the lesson. The teacher can also post it on his google classroom and students can watch it for homework. The colourful animation and sound effects should help hold attention and get the point across, the sounds I will choose will be positive reinforcement type sounds. Overall, it should be fun to watch and promote learning.
This is the final step, your proposal should now be completed. Ask someone to proofread it for you to ensure it is free from spelling and grammar mistakes. Ask them if it makes sense, a good test is to ask them to describe what you are going to make after they have read it! If they can, then you have done your job right.
Once completed submit your proposal and your completed marking guide to your teacher. See assessment documentation for guidance on how to do this.
