select a chosen design, and describe the appropriateness of that chosen design (A)
The appropriateness of the design should be described in terms of the purpose and the end users, and may refer to the relevant implications.
Reflecting on the three concepts you have created you will have now reduced them to just one. This is the one idea you will be creating in Blender
Having chosen a final design describe why you have chosen it. What are the key features of your chosen design that you feel meets the purpose and needs of your end user will be happy with.
Describe how the design meets relevant implications that you have highlighted in task 1.
For example: social implications
I have ensured that my game is socially acceptable for year 9 students. It does not include any racial or inappropriate material.
See below for examples
I have created a design for objects that could be used when creating an animated card. The objects created are for Halloween cards, there are not many halloween graphics around. The images are all generic and should not upset anyone, they are copyright free as I created them myself. The desing is appropriate because the ideas are mine, I not used any copyright material, I have taken feedback from my end user and class to make changes to ensure that the desing is culturally and socially acceptable. The file types I will export will be suitable for use in a range of softwares.
The background scene chosen is suitable for any style of game as it could be used to set the scene as an introduction with the mountains trees, rivers. Text can be added using the scene as a backdrop. The images used have been created by me and are copyright free, the scene itself is natural and culturally sensitive and should not offend. The images are low poly and have been created by me. I intend to give this a creative commons license allowing anyone to use it freely, allowing any game designer to download it and use it. The desing is appropriate because the ideas are mine, I not used any copyright material, I have taken feedback from my end user and class to make changes to ensure that the desing is culturally and socially acceptable. The file types I will export will be suitable for use in Unity game engine..
The game images I have designed and will be creating will be suitable for use in the Unity game engine. There is a range of different styles of weapons, each one is unique and created by me, I will use a creative commons license to allow game designers free use of the objects. The weapons' are suitable for a variety of games although the guns may offend some people they are appropriate for certain style of games which are often age restricted. The desing is appropriate because the ideas are mine, I not used any copyright material, I have taken feedback from my end user and class to make changes to ensure that the desing is culturally and socially acceptable. The file types I will export will be suitable for use in Unity game engine..
Through feedback and discussion with my my class friends and research into previous competition entries I have a final desing that will meet the rules of the competition and hopefully be a winner. I have complied with copyright laws and the final desing is my own work. The design is not offensive culturally or socially it is based on a historical period of time; vikings and although I have made some changes to norse designs I do not think it will offend. The desing is appropriate because the ideas are mine, I not used any copyright material, I have taken feedback from my end user and class to make changes to ensure that the desing is culturally and socially acceptable. The file types I will export will be suitable for use in Unity game engine..
