Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) provides the practical and theological background that a person needs to become a member of the Catholic community. The program affords participants the opportunity to ask many of the practical questions they have always asked themselves. The process emphasizes the meaning and the history of the Liturgy as well as the role of the Sacraments and how they serve as the source and summit of the Church’s life. The OCIA process, which runs from September to May, introduces the members to different prayer styles, the experience of participating in retreats, and a strong awareness of what it is to be a part of the St. Christopher community. OCIA meets on Sunday at 12:00 pm in the Administration Conference Room
