During the 10:30 Mass each Sunday, the children are invited by the priest to gather at the front of church.  They are blessed by Father and then go with Sister Mary Ann to their special space in Emmaus Way (by the large stained glass window). The Scripture passages for the day are presented in a way that the children can understand.  Their time together is not a "lesson” but is really a time for prayer and hearing the Word of God in their own way.  All children are welcome, as are parents or older siblings who wish to accompany little ones.  The children return to their families following the Creed and General Intercessions.  The primary purpose of this ministry is to provide children with a focused environment where they are more likely to become conscious, active listeners and responders to God’s Word.  For information please contact Sister Mary Ann at madefazio@stchrisindy.org
