This ministry meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8 pm in Bethany (the Cry room).

 We create:

• Shawls and lap blankets for those in need of prayers or support

• Baby blankets that are gifted at Baptism to welcome the newest members of our parish

• Hats and scarves that are given to the Food Pantry for those in need of warmth

 When each gift is completed the entire group prays for and blesses the gift for the recipient.

 In this ministry we have found that the fellowship and support provided by the participants give us as much, if not more, benefits as the individuals who receive one of our gifts.

Many, unfamiliar with knitting, joined and with the help of experienced teachers discovered knitting to be a wonderful way to relax. For more information email Eileen Teska at teska.eileen@gmail.com.
