Ministry to the sick and shut-ins

St. Christopher parishioners visit nursing homes, retirement faciliites, and homebound individuals and deliver Holy Communion to them. In some facilities, we have a Communion Service and others we deliver Communion to the resident's room. We do this each Friday of the month. When available, the parish priest will conduct Mass. We sponsor The Harrison Retirement Community, Westside Garden Plaza and Eagle Valley Meadows, and Summit Place. 

A Eucharistic minister visits our homebounds members weekly. Greeting cards are sent to those who are ill, to shut-ins on birthdays, and to those who have lost a loved one. Follow-up phone calls are made periodically.
