Messages
The Messages tool is located in the Ultra Base Navigation menu. All users can use messages for reminders, questions, and social interactions with members of the classes in which they are enrolled.
How do I know if I have new messages?
New messages will be indicated on the Messages page
Select Messages on the Ultra Base Navigation
The Messages window appears
You will see a number indicating the number of new messages at the course title.
How do I view my course messages?
Select Messages on the Ultra Base Navigation
The Messages window appears to the right
Click on the Course Title link
The Course Messages window will open
How do I create new messages to send to my professor or classmates?
Click the “To” button to access the list of classmates or the Professor.
Select the recipients from the
Click the arrow to move to add them to the message.
Add a subject to your message.
Type your message.
Click Attach a File to browse for files from your computer.
Only one attachment is allowed per message.
To send multiple files, you either have to send multiple messages or send them in a.zip format.
Click submit to send.
Can I view all my messages across all my courses?
No. The messages tool sorts messages by class. You will need to click on each course link to view messages specific to that course.
