One of the important tools is Blackboard Learn, which is the Learning Management System (LMS) used on our campus. There are also tutorials and instructions on other campus technologies, such as Google, Zoom and ScreenPal. 

What is Blackboard?

It's where you'll find course materials, assignments, and communication with teachers and classmates - all on your computer or mob ile device. Do you need to learn how to use Blackboard? 

STCC Online Student Blackboard Course

All students have access to a free, self-paced Blackboard Orientation class in Blackboard. As soon as you register for a class, you will have access to the Blackboard Orientation course. The orientation will give you the opportunity to practice using Blackboard on your own to better understand how it works. 

To Access the Blackboard Orientation course

1. In Blackboard,

2. On the Institution Page, click Courses on the menu

3. Look for Blackboard Orientation - COL-001-D01 

4. Click the title to enter the course

Blackboard Orientation for Students Webinars / On-Campus Sessions

This webinar is about 60 minutes covering basics of Blackboard use at STCC. There will be time for questions at the end of the session. Your individual faculty will cover specific course layout and tools. We will cover how to:
