The content editor lets you write text within Blackboard. You will mostly use the editor for writing discussion posts, but it is available when you submit assignments and have essays within your tests and quizzes. If your instructor uses the internal Blackboard mail tool, you will use the editor to send emails.
The default view of the Content Editor is one row. However, there are two additional rows available. To turn on these rows, complete the following steps:
In the content editor,
Select the button on the first row with three dots or the "More" button (...)
To expand the menu, select the "More" button and make the additional two rows available.
To collapse back to one row, click the "More" button again."
