INGREDIENTS:

2/3 sheets defrosted puff pastry

15-18 mini footy franks

1/2 cup grated tasty cheese

1 tbsp American Mustard

1 tbsp Honey

1 tbsp Tomato relish

1 egg

2 tbsp milk

Sesame seeds

Poppy seeds

Tomato or bbq sauce


METHOD: Preheat oven to 180 deg.

Slice your pastry sheet into three strips and then in half again (6 pieces all together) Mix honey & mustard together in a bowl. Spread a small amount on pastry pieces (about 1/2 tsp on each) alternate with relish. Sprinkle on some tasty cheese. In a small bowl whisk egg and milk together with a fork. Place mini footy frank on pastry and roll pasty all the way to the end and brush with a little egg wash to stick end down. Place wrapped franks on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Prick pastry on top with a fork. Brush with extra egg wash, sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds and bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and puffed. Serve with sauce and enjoy the footy!
