We're back next week and we couldn't be more excited to see you all! We thought we'd start by reminding you that next week, showing kindness to one person can spread quickly, so when we return, let's focus on kindness!
School will be a little different, but it will be mostly the same! You know what to do and we couldn't be prouder of what you have done over the last six months.
What will be different:
The teachers will have masks on most of the time. You don't need to....but you can.
We will take your temperature in the morning.....it is easy, we just hold a device in front of your face and it tells us that you are good to go. Our 55 students that have been at school over this time have done it everyday and they can tell you, it is no worries.
What will be the same:
Staggered play times- more space for you
Your friends will be there- maybe a little taller!
Your teachers and LSOs will be there- they can't wait to see you
The classrooms are there, all cleaned ready for you
You'll do all you specialist classes
Pick up and drop off will be like term two- you were brilliant at it
Some of us, in fact many of us, will be a bit worried about coming back. Guess what....that is very normal! We all just show it in different ways. In this sections are some guides your parents may be able to read with you to help you get ready to return.
I have included The Resilience Projects new GEM TV episodes, where Martin goes back through the four areas we looked at, Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness and Emotional Literacy. You can also have a bit of fun dancing!
I have included a read along from Mrs Tharle and a cooking idea from Mrs Nelson.
We are so excited to have you back....but remember if you feel a little worried, you are certainly not alone. Remember- you know how to do school and students at St Agatha's are champions....we always face challenges together and get there.
The other episodes can be seen on the toolbar to the right when watching the Mindfulness episode.
