The start of the academic year is a time for new school shoes and fresh starts. It's also a time to welcome new children and staff to our St Stephen's family. This year we are so pleased to add this lovely bunch to our team.
I studied Criminology at De Montfort University for three years. After that, I worked for a medical recruitment company for six years before beginning my life long dream of becoming a teacher. I completed my training at Teaching London. In my spare time I love to travel, play keyboard, saxophone and gaming.
Whilst I don't live particularly close to St Margarets now, I grew up in Hampton and went to Richmond College, so I feel very at home at St Stephen's and in the local community.
Before starting at St Stephen's, I worked in a primary school in Surbiton for three and a half years. Although I was based mainly in the school office, I had a variety of duties, supporting classroom learning too. I also spent a year working for Achieving for Children, where I supported training for schools. These experiences inspired me to train to be a teacher at Kingston University.
One of my favourite hobbies is baking and I have even won a (very small, local) baking competition! I find that my baking is either a disaster or quite tasty - so, unfortunately, it is very hit or miss! I also love getting stuck into a good book and my train journeys to and from school are the perfect time to catch up on reading. Spending time with family dog Jess is also a highlight!
Hammersmith born and bred, Jeff is an electrician by trade and worked for three years as Premises Manager at Warren Mead Infant and Junior School before joining us. A dyed in the wool Fulham supporter, he loves the sunshine and can't wait to revisit his beloved Tenerife when things get at back to normal. Oh, and he is a devotee of the late, great Tommy Cooper! Just like that ...
I have two boys at St. Stephens in year 2 and year 5. Before I started my teaching career I studied photography and ceramics and still enjoy both - time permitting!
I completed my teaching degree at Roehampton University ten years ago, where I specialised in art and design education. I previously worked as a nursery teacher for four years in Twickenham before joining the Reception team. This has been a very exciting move for me. I’m really looking forward to seeing the children grow and learn in their first year at school.
I have lived in South West London all my life and I did my teacher training at St Mary's University in Twickenham. I have worked in various capacities in other schools and have helped lead children's camps and clubs. In my spare time I enjoy reading, running and baking. I also drink lots of flavoured tea and I am a bit obsessed with marzipan.
I studied Languages at Royal Holloway, University of London and worked in marketing for eight years before retraining as a teacher. I did my PGCE at St Mary’s and then worked at Oldfield Primary School for ten years, followed by a stint at Archdeacon Cambridge's CofE Primary School.
I have two boys, a husband and a cocker spaniel puppy. I love languages, cooking, cycling and travelling.
