WRITING:. Opinion Writing
What is your Opinion about summer or winter? Do you like the summer season the best or the winter season the best? At the top of a piece of paper write what season you like best (I like the summer season the best./ I like the winter season the best.) Write three sentences telling me your reasons why you like that season. At the bottom of the page, complete the statement "_________ is my favorite season."
Make sure you use your three important things in your sentence (Capital letter at beginning of the sentence, finger spaces between words, and an ending mark at the end of each sentence.)

Flash Word Sight Words:
Have your child write the sight words using larger letters on a piece of paper. They should place the sight words around the room. Dim the lights and give them a small flashlight. You will say a sight word out loud and your child has to shine the light on the correct word.
