Tell about something new you learned to do. What steps did you take to learn the new skill? Use sequence words (first, next, last) and strong details to describe what you did.
Make sure you use your three important things in your sentence (Capital letter at beginning of the sentence, finger spaces between words, and an ending mark at the end of each sentence.)

Suggested Activity: Popsicle Stick Game
Play this game with 2 or more players.
Write the sight words on popsicle sticks. Leave a few sticks blank. Put the sticks with the words pointing down into the cup. The first person draws a popsicle stick out of the cup. If they can read the sight word, they can keep it. If they cannot, they have to put it back in the cup. If you draw a blank stick, you have to put all of your winnings back into the cup. The person with the most sight word sticks wins the game.
