In March, we welcomed Sophia and bid farewell to Olivia. We wish her well in her new adventure. Furthermore, we would like to welcome Pawan back from her trip back home. We’re excited to welcome Julia to our Splash team! She brings a passion for early childhood education and is looking forward to getting to know the children and families in our community.

As the month concluded, we took the opportunity to strengthen our team-building skills and enjoyed outdoor activities in the snow. Inspired by these experiences, we integrated some of that outdoor enthusiasm into our indoor environment.
We celebrated our March Birthdays. We had ice-cream cake on one of the birthdays and wished birthday songs for our friend. We all were very excited to try the ice-cream cake as some of us have never tasted the ice-cream cake.
A few sayings while we were enjoying : " It's giving me a brain freeze", "Oh I love this cake", "This cake tastes like ice-cream."
As we welcomed April, we reflected on the enriching experiences of March. During that month, we observed special celebrations including Holi, St. Patrick’s Day, Ramadan, and Eid al- Fitr. We celebrated Easter by decorating eggs, making crafts and enjoying delicious chocolate treats.
April is an exciting month as it marks the peak of spring. We look forward to warmer weather and longer outdoor activities. This season offers a wonderful opportunity to observe nature’s bloom and begin gardening as the soil warms. We also plan to celebrate Earth Day through engaging activities such as seed planting, crafting with recyclable materials, and exploring nature. These activities include making seed bombs, starting a worm compost bin, participating in a nature scavenger hunt, creating art from recyclable items, and conducting simple science experiments like building self-sustaining terrariums and plant growth observations. Nature walks will continue to offer children the chance to observe plant details and monitor weather conditions.
We look forward to an active, and meaningful month full of learning, exploration, and fun. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Please remember to send extra clothes for your child, as winter weather and daily indoor and outdoor activities may sometimes result in wet or messy clothing.
