We are grateful to have experienced pleasant weather throughout December, which allowed us to engage in outdoor activities comfortably.
This past month, our focus was on the successful bake sale. We appreciate everyone’s efforts in making it a success, as well as for decorating our environment for the holiday season and creating gifts for our parents and families. The holiday season always brings a joyful and festive atmosphere.
We used the money that we raised through bake sales to go to the MUNSCH UPON A TIME show at Prairie exchange theatre. We went to the show for some cool time travel where the books come to life on stage with the help of Professor Pim’s time machine, which zips back and forth 50 years — all with lots of high-octane energy and loads of laughs. We saw five favourite stories from Canada’s most beloved children’s author — including The Paper Bag Princess, David’s Father, The Fire Station, Give Me Back My Dad! and It’s My Room! We were transported to the theatre on the public bus, which was a great experience for our young children.
We would like to extend a heartfelt Thank you to Officer Marvin for joining our Holiday Luncheon in December. It was a pleasure to share wonderful conversations, laughter, and good food.
Looking ahead to January, we aim to continue exploring outdoor activities that promote fun and adventure. We recently identified an ideal location for sliding, and we also plan to build an ice fort in one of the yards for children to enjoy.
We are looking for clean, empty 2L milk cartons. We would greatly appreciate your donations of this item, to make our fort outside.
