June was a very exciting and joyful month in our ULC School Age environment. We celebrated Father’s Day by creating special ties and artwork for our dads and special loved ones. The children also enjoyed participating in our Pride Parade, where we celebrated kindness, inclusion, and respecting everyone. With the beautiful summer weather, the children have been spending lots of time outdoors and have been especially excited about our Forest School experiences. They have enjoyed exploring nature through activities such as bug hunts, observing plants and animals, and engaging in outdoor play and adventures with their friends. The children have also been keeping up with the FIFA games and have had fun participating in soccer-related activities and friendly matches. We will continue to follow the excitement of FIFA and incorporate fun activities inspired by the games throughout July.

As we move into July, we are looking forward to continuing our summer program and creating many more memorable experiences together. The children are excited to spend more time at Forest School, explore our community through walks and outings, and participate in a variety of engaging summer activities. We are eager to continue fostering curiosity, creativity, and friendships while making the most of the warm weather and all the opportunities that summer brings.

We would also like to take this opportunity to say farewell to some of our educators. We are so thankful for Julia and Ashmeen and all that they have brought to our program. Their kindness, dedication, and positive impact on the children and families have been truly appreciated, and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavors. We are excited to welcome Amber to our team and look forward to the knowledge, care, and enthusiasm she will bring to our environment. In June, we also said goodbye to some of our kindergarten graduates. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and all they have achieved during their time with us. We wish them continued success as they begin this exciting new chapter and know they will do amazing things in school.
